ARFSC Club Coaches

The American Riviera Figure Skating Club has several affiliated coaches that are credentialed by US Figure Skating. Only coaches that are credentialed and have current certification requirements  through US Figure Skating are allowed to accompany students to USFS competitions and test sessions. The qualifications that US Figure Skating requires include the following:

• USFS membership - the coach is required to be a USFS member.
  
• Background Check - the coach is required to have a background check every year
• Current Safesport Training - the coach is required ot complete safesport training with refreshers each year
• Code of Ethics - the coach must agree to abide by US figure skating code of ethics
• Core coaching training and certification
• Member of US Figure Skating Coach ICE
• Liability Insurance - the coach must carry liablility insurance
